Global Programme in Development Management

Welcome to The Open University's Postgraduate Programme in Development Management (GDM)

The Open University's MSc in Development Management is aimed at professionals in the field and those wanting to work in all aspects of development management.
Development Management covers a wide range of professional activities and occupations, and is relevant to those working in development in the UK and the rest of Europe, as well as further afield – we have a growing number of students overseas in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Overseas students take part in a special Open University scheme called Development Management Worldwide that allows those sponsored by a development organisation to participate in the programme.

The core courses in the programme are studied through orthodox, textbook-based delivery or through online teaching and assessment.
